Welcome to Greenbrier middle school!  The primary goal of the Counseling and Guidance program is to promote and enhance student learning for all students through three broad and interrelated areas of student development.  These three areas of student development are:

  • Academic development
  • Career development
  • Personal/social development

Our Counseling and Guidance curriculum and services are delivered through:

  • Classroom Guidance Lessons
  • Individual Counseling
  • Parent/Teacher/Student Consultation and Facilitation
  • Group Counseling (when appropriate)

We practice an “Open Door” policy and students can simply make a request to their teacher or the office to see a counselor.  At an appropriate time, the student will be sent to the Counseling Office.  Students are not assigned to a specific counselor and do not need an appointment to meet with a counselor.
